Hey everyone! What an eventful week, and preseason, we had. I’m relieved to know that it’s finally over and my daily predictions have come to a close. Preseason has been generous to some, but disastrous for others. We didn’t see many player trades or taxi moveups, but there recently were two CSS trades. Our very own Marcus “zet” Sundstrom is on his way home to Sweden, and Corey “Kam” Hanes has taken his place. Additionally, Carson “Classified” Holt leaves Dallas and Justin “Sunman” Summy steps in. Both Hanes and Summy are big name players, and both, in my opinion, are improvements.
In DOA, Perfect Legend looks solid, and Jake must be all smiles in the DOA division. Both Belle and PL are doing their jobs, and last year’s weakpoint has become, arguably, the backbone for coL. It will be interesting to see how they both play offline, but if they play similar to how they have, watch out, CGS franchises.
Kreegan looks set to take first for FIFA, and coL’s racers are holding their own in the Forza division. As for CSS, Jake knows and loves his CSS team, and they should place well during the regular season. They may not be first, but they should place second and keep every game close.
If I had to pick one division that needs to perform, it would be DOA. The biggest spreads have been there, and most of CompLexity’s games will be won or lost there.
So preseason’s over – and that makes me a very happy spawn camper – but Jake’s still out to keep me in it! As a final “going-away” present, I present to you the final “CGS Training Camp: Week in Review”. Enjoy!

CompLexity finished off great for preseason. Jake really stood by his comments at the beginning of the preseason – he was out to win, whether it mattered or not. CompLexity looks strong in several divisions, and none of the divisions have proven to be a like Belle was last season.
There isn’t much to say about Perfect Legend; He lost, but that shouldn’t affect him, or coL, too much. Three points is still very solid, and that’s what he should get – at the minimal – every match. He should end in the top three no matter what, but I believe that out of everyone in the division, he has the best shot at first.
Belle absolutely crushed Kasumi Chan, but everyone has to remember that preseason Kasumi Chan isn’t season Kasumi Chan. Regardless, Belle has improved and continues to do so. She won’t place better than fourth, but she’ll continue to get better as the season goes on. CompLexity only needs her to consistently score three points at least, and their other divisions will pick up the slack.
Kreegan played fantastically well, and I have no qualms about placing him as first at the end of the season. He crushed Eafra, 3-0, and is – without a doubt – the best FIFA player in the division. A few other people have said that he won’t do better than 9-3, but I’m thinking a record of 11-1 is definitely possible. He will likely get upset once or twice, but he should find a way to win ninety five percent of his games.
The transition to Forza 2 hasn’t affected CompLexity’s racers all that much. They are right in the thick of what I call “the Forza mess”. I’m sure they won’t beat other teams like 3D, but I could see them placing well in the season. Chavisan and GTO have proven that they can handle “the big boys” in Forza, and keeping it close (4-3), or winning by a point is just what Jason needs.
So what do we take from all this? CompLexity has a great shot during the regular season. In my opinion, they have:
A first to third place DOA Male
A fourth to sixth place DOA female who scores two to three points a game
A first to third place Counter Strike Source team
A first or second place FIFA player
A third to fifth place Forza team who lose by one point maximum
That’s a pretty solid team. Not many other teams can say they have three divisions who are strong contenders for that coveted first place finish. Jake did an incredible job picking his team this season, and coL fans should look forward to a great year. Their team is a great one, and it should be a great year for CompLexity.
